This week is off to a good start…
- Little B slept through the night last night and woke up at 6:45 a.m.! I felt like a different person today with so much rest.
- It’s national root beer float day today. It reminds me of two NYEs ago when Mr. B and discovered root beer flavored vodka and made post-dinner spiked root beer floats for all of our friends. It made for a good night…
- Little B was dancing boy band style at Mr. Dave’s music class today. Where did he get his rhythm?
- I stopped into Trillium on Division on our walk today. Some amazing sweaters, blouses and denim for Fall. Not to mention some great end of summer pieces on sale!
- I got to hang out with my niece today! She’s adorable…
- The books I ordered for Little B last week arrived! I love new books (and not just those on my Kindle). Little B favored the one about trucks and trains, naturally (he is fascinated by the “L” and construction sites).
- To finish off “Meatless Monday”, I made this amazing Greek quinoa for dinner. I diced a red pepper, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, black olives, and artichokes and tossed with arugula, Cindy’s Greek vinaigrette and a sprinkle of feta (okay, a lot of feta). A light meal that was easy to put together as I was making Little B’s dinner (devoured after he was asleep with a glass of wine and a few g-free chocolate chip cookies, of course).
Heading to the burbs tomorrow for a play date. I have no idea where I’m going. Wish us luck!
